Hard Rubber mouthpiece, excellent quality hard. It arrived original but shy of the correct tip size, also with those 2 little nicks in the tip (before photo), so I perfected the seal, and cleaned the tip to set it up at a proper 0.065" for a "C". Good for legit, concert band, or orchestra work, or subtle vintage jazz. Comes with tooth cushion installed and working ligature.
