Here is a pic of some custom resonator work.  We can size the reso to your tonehole, or whatever you like.

Keilwerth made The New King and Tone King  as their main brand names, from 1932 to 1969 or so, but there were always stencils, like Edgeware and later Couf.  Here are few of the other names you may find on Keilwerth made horns.  The new king and tone king saxes were identical except for a high F# key on the tone king model, but keilwerth marketed the Tone King as the "deluxe" Pro model and the New King as the "standard" Pro model

C-Melody

I get a few request per year for C-Melody saxes, tenor style, alto style and soprano style.  I am going to make an effort to find one of each, nice ones... and offer them here.  I don't recommend c-melodies for beginners, they are best enjoyed by experienced players, wishing to use them for Dixieland, or early vintage music.  These will not be smelly old junkers, but rather carefully selected, rare horns, that I will only offer totally rebuilt.  Prices are "including rebuild".  Enjoy!

Conn, Silver Plate C Melody "Tenor":  Made about 1918-19, Serial # 4486x.  Silver plate finish is original and is over 80% intact, with much tarnish.  I plan to hand polish it and restore any missing silver.  The body is in excellent condition, with one small dent on the back of the body tube near the neck-strap hook, and one small dent on the bow, which i will remove, and no signs of repair.   The neck is in very good condition, no dents, no signs of repair.  The Original white kid  pads are still in it.  The unaltered C mouthpiece and ligature are included, i'm not sure what brand it is, or if it's original.  The replacement case is in very good condition.  I shined the neck and bell, you can see just how long it has sat without a cleaning, but it's in great shape, all keys move just fine.   I plan a Standard Vintage Style rebuild and it will sell for 1250.00.

Conn, Silver Plate C Melody "Tenor":  Made about 1920, Serial # 6027x.  Silver plate finish is original and is over 99% intact, with much tarnish.  I plan to hand polish it to it's original shine.  The body is in excellent condition, no dents i saw and no signs of repair.   The neck is in very good condition, no dents, no signs of repair.  no mouthpiece, no case with this one.  I plan a Standard Vintage Style rebuild and it will sell for 1250.00.

The palm key spatulas have worn through the plating as you can see in some pictures, so to make her really cherry, i'm going to restore the silver on those.  Serial # in the 99k range, makes her a 1922.  I need to remove a few minor dents but no major damage ever. Original tunable neck works great. Original Mouthpiece comes with the sax.  It has just had a complete rebuild, pads installed are as original with the original Conn rings and original style premium white leather.  This is going to play as close to original style as you will ever get.  Original case is lost to decay, so it will come in a slightly oversized new saxbag.  999.00

The palm key spatulas have worn through the plating as you can see in some pictures, so to make her really cherry, i'm going to restore the silver/gold on those.  There are small spots, like by the RH thumbhook that are thin too, but don't look bad at all (See pics, there are darker areas and lighter areas, typical of an original plated horn of this era).   It has just had a complete French style rebuild, no original case, it comes with a new bag. 1799.00  Ready to go
