Conn ‘look-alike’ Baritone, 1920s/30s (RAC reface)- 0.112″

$299.00 - SOUND: It has bite & depth. It's wild; like Treble and Bass, not heavy in the Mids. We got it with its original tip and Bob Carpenter opened it up to a .110". It's a big tip with some edgy sounds. The included ligature isn't a perfect fit, but better than nothing. I found that different reed brands need an extra spacer--i glued some cork on the ligature to help (ask me if I have another to upgrade this fitting). Medium-medium/small, round chamber. Not a vintage large chamber.

Other: ‘Marveltone’ Soprano, (WWS reface)- 0.067″

SOLD - Made of hard rubber, it maintains a nice warmth. It arrived with a tiny 0.052 tip so I opened it up to 0.067". It responds very nice with a 2.5 reed and has strong presence and focus. I would call this a 'short shank' style; it also has a noticeable tight, smaller shank to fit on your neck cork(12.85mm vs. a modern C* 13.55mm). Medium round chamber. sorry, no ligature included. a rovner soprano will work great.
