A beautiful Key of Bb soprano sax with newer pads.
You'll notice there is a little wear on the sax, but the only negative mark to mention is the solder repair that removed an non-original neckstrap ring from the back of the tube(they didn't have neckstrap rings). There would have been snap in resos on this sax, but many appear to have gone missing & thus replaced with the pad-reso in time. This early era TT also has the pearl-G# button.
Interesting serial number note with "FR" in the mix. There is only 1-2 other online mentions of such and it has been labeled "Factory Refurbish/Repair". See SOTW forum.
CASE: old original in good condition. There is a vintage smell to it and I may have to treat it with some cleaners. If you're interested in acquiring a Protec Propac, I can help you get that at a discount also.
PADS: Rebuilt elsewhere, by a local seattle tech, pads have low playing time. Tan pads, most with metal resos with rivot, I see a few snap resos on lower pads.
