1931 Martin 'Typewriter', Silver Plate Tenor

Serial #101k, A Silver Typewriter, tenor (RARE) - nice! Collector's Beauty. Owned for many years by a local collector, this sax has been well loved and preserved for the next owner. Silver matte body, shiny keys & gold plated, goldwash bell. The altos of this model are more seen, and tenors or baritones are much more rare.

PADS: tan pads, flat metal resos. (minor tune up possible, just ask and remind me). Played pretty easy for me on arrival - see Sound File!

CASE: older protec in good working order.

Track 1: Actual Sax! On Meyer 8 rubber mouthpiece. It may not have been the best pairing for the Martin to shine - larger chamber mouthpieces were a better pairing from that era(Otto Link, Woodwind Co., Buescher, Martin, ... etc).
