A super clean Mark VI soprano in original lacquer (98% present) with original case and leather exterior case wrap. Also, it is from an adult-owned home. It has high F# and plastic thumb hook. This model is the 'no engraving' era. The only lacquer wear I see is on a palm D3-key touch point, as well as some marks below the octave thumb rest on the tube. Otherwise, it's extremely clean - no resolders, no bell lip damage.
ERGOS: Only modern critique is the known complaints of the semi-inline palm key design.
CASE: Original case and leather exterior case wrap AND keys! the case is in excellent condition to match, protected by the leather wrap. The latches are firm and springy.
PADS: older pads in supple working order - tan pads with plastic resonators. Major pad work was done through the entire sax by a good repairman 10-25(?) years ago with only mild use. (The owner played more tenor than soprano.)
ACCESSORIES: Original matching Selmer ligature and mouthpiece cap ($$$), as well as a Selmer S80 "E" hard rubber mouthpiece ($139 new) is included in this sale. Mouthpiece specs: The mouthpiece tip measures a 0.054" which is correct; it has a small, square chamber as S80's do/should.
