If you wish to schedule a rebuild, or purchase one of the saxes (and it still needs to be rebuilt), send me a 50% deposit to hold your place in the work schedule. I work from a published schedule (see left margin) so that your sax will only be out of your possession a couple weeks, while i do the actual work, it does not have to just sit on the shop floor, until its turn comes up... you send it to arrive on schedule and we return it on schedule. E-mail chadd with questions about our vintage saxes at: worldwidesax@gmail.com
Sure Pay/ClearXchange: The newest Bank-to-Bank $ transfer option by mobile phones to send money to our Email address! No fees attached! Perhaps THE way of future banking and payments. Use: WorldwideSax@Gmail.com (Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Chase...)
If a horns says "just rebuilt", then it's ready to go, saxes that say "scheduled for a rebuild" are waiting for the work to be done, but it will be included in the posted price. If a sax says "ON TRIAL" someone is taking advantage of the "Three Day Trial" policy (See Info and Orders page).

Here is a pic of some custom resonator work. The reso can be sized to your tonehole, or whatever you would like. I can get you virtually any resonator ordered. Sarge's favorite was the Resotech solid silver reso.
WE DO GOLD AND SILVER ELECTRO-PLATING That's right! We have a: GOLD STAR Pro plating system
It is our business to Rebuild your sax or sell ours as Fully Rebuilt Saxes. We never sell our stock "As-Is". We are Restorers.
If you wish to schedule a rebuild, or purchase one of our saxes and it still needs to be rebuilt, send us a 50% deposit and we will schedule its rebuild before any of our other worldwidesax.com inventory. Everybody loves these new Kangaroo skin pads, aka Saxgourmet Pads and you can get them from Curt, at musicmedic.com you can request that any WWS stock be rebuilt with them, or just click this link and order some for yourself.

WWS SOUND FILES!!! Thank you for your positive feedback! We are proud to help customers "hear" different models of saxes and mouthpieces, in a Versus basis... Minor Disclaimer: we play these mixes to help the sax world and our customers get the raw impressions of each sax. These are usually impromptu by whatever page we turn to and played for the sheer joy of the vintage horns. Don't judge our playing too harshly. :) Enjoy! ***other crucial tip: Use Large Speakers!*** New Sound File 5-2016: TENORs: "The Martin Tenor" x4: 1948 TMT #164k(orig lac, black roos, flat nickel resos), 1949 TMT #166k(relac, tan pads, brass resos), 1960 Magna #210k(relac, tan pads, flat nickel resos), 1963 Official Music Man #218k(black roos, silver resotech resos) New Sound File 5-2016: SOPRANOs x3: Conn 1924 New Wonder I, Yanagisawa (Buescher Super 400--Selmer VI copy), Buffet SA18-20#2889 New Sound File 2-2016: ALTOs x4 "Blind": Random order: 1959 King Super 20, Conn 6M "VIII", The Martin Alto, Selmer USA Omega New Sound File 1-2016: Tenor MPCs 5x: Selmer C* Short Shank-71, Otto Link Tone Master 7-86, OttoLinkFourStar-RAC87, Herbert Couf Artist-88, Runyon #4 Ivory-78 New Sound File 1-2016: ALTOs 5x: Buescher BigB325k, VOSS, SML Rev-C #75xx, Buescher TrueTone#205k, OLDS Superstar New Sound File 8-2015: Tenor MPCs - DUKOFF x4: Fluted Chamber 0.095-96", "B.D." #7(type A) 0.096", Nickel-plated brass D8 0.101", brass Stubby #7 0.101" New Sound

Your Sound on sax
Playing sax is
so much more personal than something like piano or drums... you
have to play, yes, practice too, but you also have to work to make your
particular sound... unlike piano or drums or similar instruments, it involves
a technique (embouchure, wind control, reading, and controlling the
instrument) Then, it also means that you have to decide how you want to
play, jazz, blues, new orleans dixie, etc. Most people decide on a sound
and a style, or genre. To get that sound, you will need the right tools.
The tools are: 1) a mouthpiece (and there are over a hundred designs/tonal shades)
and 2) a saxophone (also a lot of designs, ergonomics and sounds). Each
sax will shade you to the sound you like best, for your personal taste.
I have my favorite sound, but it might be different that what you
prefer... ok, now i'm getting to my point, the only way i can help point
you in the right direction, is if you can help me help you. So, the ball is in your court. If you say john coltrane is closest to your favorite, we find you a old Florida era Otto Link and a Selmer Mark VI. That said, sometimes people don't want to sound like anyone else... They want to pick three famous horns and try them, to see what sound they get and then decide what they're drawn to! We can usually help with that too (for locals, they can play them in person, for out of the area players, we record them with state of the art equipment and email a sample mp3 of each horn or mouthpiece). I hope that helps to get you started. Here's a great webpage to help you look at different models: Saxophone Comparison Chart--don't forget, the chart is a compilation of our opinions. Regards, chadd (& sarge, in spirit)
We have been lucky to make many friends and am blessed with more business than one man can handle... because of that, there's always a long waiting list. So long ago, Sarge came up with a system that works. We have a work queue (upper Left sidebar)... people who want work done send us a 50% deposit to have their work added to the queue. Then when their turn comes up, they ship the horn to arrive a couple days before work is scheduled to start. The queue is posted on the Left Margin of my website pages and is updated weekly. Doing it this way, your sax only has to be out of your possession a couple weeks. The "Work Schedule" now consists of me, Chadd, doing one rebuild every 11 days or so ( because I used to teach music at the local school + some lessons students)... and some of those will be WWS horns that are going to customers. So, I'm not real speedy and I really don't want to have other people sub work in, or enlarge the shop and have different workers doing different levels of work. Aside from doing the restoration work on saxes and mouthpieces, there is the time consumed by "running the business" and answering the phone, that never stops ringing, so hopefully this system can keep our customers happy. I will do my best to be just as available as Sarge has been for the last 13+ years and always happy to help, with the best customer service I can muster... If you are patient and like our style, then by all means let us do our best, for you. thanks, chadd
One of the most common questions I get asked is...
The best plan I have been able to devise is a Deposit System. Work, on almost anything gets scheduled right away when I receive a deposit for the work (or sax) you have interest in. Email me and ask about what interests you, then we can discuss my next schedule opening, see if it works for you... and how to get me the deposit that makes the wheels roll.
