If you wish to schedule a rebuild, or purchase one of the saxes (and it still needs to be rebuilt),  send me a 50% deposit to hold your place in the work schedule.  I work from a published schedule (see left margin) so that your sax will only be out of your possession a couple weeks, while i do the actual work, it does not have to just sit on the shop floor, until its turn comes up... you send it to arrive on schedule and we return it on schedule.

  If  a horns says "just rebuilt", then it's ready to go, saxes that say "scheduled for a rebuild" are waiting for the work to be done, but it will be included in the posted price.  If a sax says "ON TRIAL" someone is taking advantage of the "Three Day Trial" policy (See Info and Orders page).

Keilwerth made The New King and Tone King  as their main brand names, from 1932 to 1969 or so, but there were always stencils, like Edgeware and later Couf.  Here are few of the other names you may find on Keilwerth made horns.  The New King and Tone King saxes were identical except for a high F# key on the tone king model, but keilwerth marketed the Tone King as the "deluxe" Pro model and the New King as the "standard" Pro model

If you're after a modern sax for keywork and tone, there are a few Cannonballs with a solid reputation. The company has done a lot of focus with respect to neck work and tonal control. This sax is the first sax that Cannonball proved they could make great saxes. It has Silver plated finish 98% -- It appears that some finish is not perfect from the factory. It is a Pro-Model sax. This one has the extensive engraving throughout. 

   I will check this one out for any minor tune-ups it needs to play to Bb easy, and it will leave here playing great! CASE: is the original hard case. I would say "ok shape", the handles need to be taped to prevent the fraying, otherwise, it is good to use....and I'm picky with descriptions.

One of the secret gems in the whole sax world!  I have plans with this sax to be a great Pro Tenor for a player on a "budget". Let me explain: a Pro, Selmer, Tenor... for under $3000. That is a very hard thing to offer. I'll do my best to help you all out. 

CASE: original hard case in good+ shape, hard wood rectangle style.

Serial #82Xxxx, Original lacquer finish at 75%. It was worked on to 'ok playing' condition and I want to have you help make it your own. It had lost the pants guard--I'll try to add a proper replacement.

Here's a used, newer model of Vito. It is a Taiwanese made era. Serial #AK31,508,051, newer construction, rose gold lacquer, nickel keys (good for kids), Real pearls!, with  high F#! These have very comfortable, modern keywork and should not hinder any student getting started. Comes with black Vito case and mouthpiece.

Here's the newest student model from Yamaha, used and overall in great shape. serial #xxxxx, newer construction, gold lacquer body and nickel keys (good for kids). It arrived with a few dents that I will burnish out. no high F# but a great tone! These have very comfortable, modern keywork and should not hinder any student getting started. Comes with hard case and mouthpiece.

this is one of Yamaha's Intermediate quality saxes. Compare this with the older "52" and the newer "475", I believe this was a transition model between those. lacquer body & keys--the sax looks great with a few minor dings but nothing major. near new pads. Keys to high F# also. ser# 223430, I love the yamaha intermediate saxes for students who want to launch to the next level. Pads look great, I will replace 2-4. The case is in excellent shape too. I will include a generic mouthpiece if you need one but as you step up, you likely will be on a Mouthpiece Quest anyway.

(Special Consignment -- Plays Great) Another superb tenor, ser#017xxx, Original Lacquer at 85%. They are clean sounding, comfortable playing tenors, with great intonation.  In the Yamaha pro lines, people seek out these Purple Logo ones (pickiness says: they play better). It received mostly newer pads elsewhere; it feels wrong to tear them out. this sax impressed me on arrival. (I'm not a big fan of "the Yamaha tone".) This sax has a bit more depth and body than what most people know of for Yamaha--I give credit to the "purple logo"; this must be the reason that these are in demand.

   I have priced it low for only one reason: a past owner had a small custom area. (see Photo: Side Bb, C, E) The brass was trimmed in the spacing. Otherwise, I would have priced this sax easily at $2700.00+. CASE: comes with original hard case in good shape.
