1962 Buffet Super Dynaction (SDA) Alto

Original Lacquer at about 70%, this SDA was recently repaded (elsewhere) and is a lovely example of the SDA model with a full package purchase to consider! Buffet Super Dynaction saxes are French in design and smooth in action, and also heavy in build - built like tanks. Being French and from the early 60s, these are commonly linked as the best #2 comp to a Selmer Mark VI. These do play a little "wider" or "rounder" in tone than Selmers, and that is neither wrong nor right - just different.

PADS: This sax was recently repadded by local WA music store with tan pads, metal resos and natural corks. The receipt on this was $784 - It plays "Good"!

CASE: Nice Protec ProPac molded case (a $150 value!).

BONUS: A "Beechler" metal mouthpiece with a 0.080" tip size and high baffle for loud, cutting tone and power. *WWS cannot verify that this is a true Beechler model or a Chinese copy as online records lean that way. It was tested and played with response from low-end up through altissimo.
