The Super Action 80, Series 2 and Series 3 saxes are very very well respected and may forever be etched in the list of "great" saxes. They have great ergonomics and intonation, as well as the professional tone you expect from Selmer.
STORY: If only saxophones could talk... this one sustained a major damage hit to the D-t-thumbhook tube zone. Major body work has been done to get things in a 85% aligned position. More dent work will be needed/done as well as some "medium scope" metal work that is all too come in a repair shop. I've already invested some time in dent work to ensure the potential in this sax could be seen. It is definitely worth saving.
PADS: Currently in factory original setup. Many may be able to last a while, but the lower half may need changed out.
REBUILD: a 50% repad will be needed/recommended to fully enjoy this sax.
CASE: It arrived with original case that sustained the same damage event. It is a ship-safe container, but an update should be considered. If you want a Protec ProPac, I will hook you up! At a price too good to share.
