SOLD - Vintage hard rubber from 1930s. It has a large Chamber and I just had Bob Carpenter open it up to 0.071". It plays really easy. I would say it sounds typical of a stuffy, vintage tone but after Bob's work, it can cut through in the high register--still not as loud of a mpc as others. no ligature, sorry. Couf ‘Special “4*”‘ Tenor, 1970s – 0.084” (Archived)

MC Gregory ‘Gale Companion 4M’ Baritone, 1960s (Refaced) – 0.089″ (Archived)
SOLD - ***A rare mouthpiece, with buttery tones, that made even me sound good.*** On arrival, it had a original tip at 0.079",... NOW 0.089" Tip after repair/reface. Gerry Mulligan played on one, a 5M. .... and we're forced to raise our 4M size, to 5M, if you catch my drift.
Holton ‘Sil-Vae-Lay’ C-Melody, (RAC Reface)- 0.086″ (Archived)
SOLD - These are cast metal then encased in hard rubber, which made an amazingly warm, but powerful. Measures 3.47" in length. This one is black and I had Bob fill a tooth groove and Bob Carpenter has just refaced it to a 0.086". and it's ready to go.
Woodwind Co. ‘New York “N3″‘ Alto – 0.062” (Archived)
SOLD - Terrific material and good classic design. Larger chamber makes for a big vintage sound. reminds me of a slant signature sound but a but more 'vintage-nasal' with the Original tip size of 0.062".
Woodwind Co. ‘New York #5* ‘ Tenor, Rose Gold-Plated, Ser#X324 (reface)- 0.105″ (Archived)
SOLD - Here is another awesome, rare mouthpiece. heavy body brass design, ser# "X324". This mouthpiece blows really well and the tip is 0.105" (refaced by "a guy") and then improved seal by me. The bite plate is a replacement (black). I opted to buff off refacer's name because I would not want my name on it looking like that--plus, he doesn't get credit for my tight seal. Now with it so clean, I was tempted to plate it (since it's already slightly unoriginal)--now it's Rose Gold. These are often equated with Otto Links, however these have a small chamber. These are commonly seen and sought after in the #5 and #7 so this one is priced very nicely at:
...now 399.00 with pro reface(s), and non-original BG gold ligature but it needs help, and now Rose Gold Plated
Woodwind Co. ‘New York #5’ Tenor, Brass, Ser# X359 – 0.093″ (Archived)
SOLD - Here is another awesome, rare mouthpiece. heavy body brass design, ser# "X359". This mouthpiece blows really well and the tip is 0.093". On arrival it was a 0.092" but the table and tip seal needed my light touch. I wanted to keep this as true to the #5 as possible. These are often equated with Otto Links, however these have a smaller chamber. These are commonly seen and sought after in the #5 and #7 so this one is priced very nicely.
Woodwind Co. ‘New York “B6″‘ Tenor, (RAC reface) – 0.105” (Archived)
SOLD - Terrific material and good classic design. Smaller chamber makes for a focused vintage sound. Bob Carpenter just opened this one up to a easy blowing .105" with a 23mm facing length.
