Buescher ‘TrueTone USA’ Baritone, 1930s/40s (RAC reface)- 0.090″ (Archived)

SOLD - (non-pickle) Here is a very cool large chamber mouthpiece. It arrived in original tip so I just sent it off to Bob Carpenter to get it more modernized for Classical Music at 0.090" (for reference C* = 0.080"). It has very minor teeth scratches and the tip and rails look great. The smaller tip size and large chamber will accent the vintage nasally tone and be best suited for the concert band or small group blend. currently no lig, sorry.

Berg Larsen ‘look-alike’ Baritone – 0.098″ (Archived)

SOLD - Here is a rare Berg-like, a 1940-60s, bullet berg...?... Bob Carpenter says that these often didn't get stamped. There is a "5" marking on the side though, so it could be a stencil, similar to a late boattail. Tip measures @ 0.098"...But I will have to clean it up and perfect the Tip. It has very nice, meaty core tone and is very resonant; not bright at all. This is a dark-bark sound. The table has vertical marks, too. It arrived without a ligature but I found a vintage, brass tenor one that works well.

There is a "5" marking on the side though, so it could be a stencil, similar to a late boattail. Tip measures @ 0.100". This is a very nice player, so much so that this alto player really liked it! It has very nice, meaty core tone and is very resonant; not bright at all. This is a dark-bark sound. The table has vertical marks, too. It arrived without a ligature but I found a vintage, brass tenor one that works well.
