Sold - Vintage hard rubber from 1920/30s. Originally it was paired with a New Wonder . It has a large Chamber and I just had Bob Carpenter open it up to 0.080". It plays really easy. I would say it sounds typical of a stuffy, vintage tone but after Bob's work, it can cut through in the high register--still not as loud of a mpc as others. no ligature.

SOLD - $99.00 - Vintage hard rubber from 1920s(perhaps earlier). It has been refaced (elsewhere?) to tip size @ about 0.064". I THINK THIS COULD BE A SWEET SWEET PLAYER! It has a very large Chamber and that traditional 1920s stuffy tone but add in the high tones from the reface. no ligature, but ask me. (remind me to enhance the tip seal)

SOLD - Vintage hard rubber from 1920s. It has the original tip size @ about 0.054". It will play nicer with a Lavoz Medium, and poorly with a 2.5 reed so stick to #3 or greater. It has a very large Chamber and that traditional 1920s stuffy tone, narrow beak. no ligature, but ask me. Refacing possible( +$). (remind me to finesse the current facing and seal.)

SOLD - Vintage hard rubber from 1940s/50s...it has a large window for the reed! cool! Also the large large chamber and I enhanced the tip up to 0.068". It plays really easy. I would say it sounds typical of a stuffy, vintage tone. no ligature, sorry.

SOLD - Original Markings on the table were "63/30M 5/27" WWS REFACE 0.074" . Large Chamber.
SOLD - vintage early 1920s from a TrueTone, markings of "2", tip looks original, tip @ 0.055" and it plays stuffy, like the traditional sound it had with the Buescher True Tones. Stiff reeds needed. sorry, no ligature currently.
SOLD - Real smooth & Rich, large chamber S3 model. Script is good. Original Tip measured 0.063" but it received a WWS REFACE to 0.072", it plays really nice and with a bit more focus than the sound file with the 0.055. It reminds me of a S80-C* crossed with a Meyer 5--BUT with more treble power than both. No ligature, but you can ask--one the size of a selmer S80 fits. These are hard to find mpcs and we love them. (this one actually has a 2-3mm longer body{center of mpc} than the 0.072" listed below.) PHOTOS were before the refacing work.
SOLD - no serial #. I had Bob C fill in the tooth pad, It had a larger tip than expected on arrival, It received some altering here enough to call it a "Refaced" example. WWS Reface: 0.072". SOUND: reserved-vintage tone. clearer tones up high allow treble to return, minor-subdued tone overall.
