This one, well, it's really really good. I have more to add, but I needed to get this listed asap and we can chat more!

Quick Play Test Notes: It is very responsive! extremely easy even into altissimo. It will get a small tuneup to help the lowB/Bb pop out from the "B+" tuneup response needed, but that's about the worst thing I can say upon the check-in inspection.

Why This Sax?

Here's the thing... the "5-digit" sound is a real thing that is felt and known by the sax world. Yet, consider that these digit counts are a human-imposed marker by a human 10-digit system. What if I told you that get the *same* caliber sound (yes, arguable by varying runs even!) on Selmers is up through serial #s 104k, or 106k, or even 108k!? -- this added info to arguments and research is from personal contact/client/customer and University of Washington professor in the math department.

What I'm trying to emphasize here is that, for the player and sound lover, you will get the best bargain of a Selmer in the #100,000-108,000 serial range -- making this #103k a stellar sax by every need in your players' ears, and even save you from the $12k-14k sticker price too!

The value play, said a different way, and rounding down:

"A ser# 100,000 -103,000 will arguably save you $1,000 - $3,000 with no loss in musical tone quality." - Chadd(WWS)

PADS: ...info coming soon ... tan pads, resos are metal domes with rivet. All recent repair work was done by a few knowledgeable tech in the Idaho/Oregon area.

CASE: an upgraded Walt Johnson hard case. ($$$!)
