Here is a rare Berg-like, a 1940-60s, bullet berg...?... Bob Carpenter says that these often didn't get stamped. There is a "5" marking on the side though, so it could be a stencil, similar to a late boattail. Tip measures @ 0.100". This is a very nice player, so much so that this alto player really liked it! It has very nice, meaty core tone and is very resonant; not bright at all. This is a dark-bark sound. The table has vertical marks, too. It arrived without a ligature but I found a vintage, brass tenor one that works well.
