Price: SOLD
- Year: 1931
- Make: Conn
- Model: New Wonder II-6M (Transitional)
- Status: SOLD
- Finish: Original Silver Plate, Gold Bell
- Serial Number: 246,0xx
Amazing condition! Serial #246,xxx... shining example in original silver plating! +95% intact!, to be verified during rebuild when she is polished. No wear on the thumbrest! Small wear on the octave key and high F palm key. The toneholes look great.
CONS: Small dent in the back bow that will come out easily, and the only other thing to mention is the knock to the neck under the neck cork area - This has a split that will need some expert solder repair.
This is an early transitional model, and true example at that with flat-Chu G#, neck tuner, even the Eb trill key like the Chu!... The sax is in great condition, and will need a full rebuild to enjoy! We will do that for the price included, AND remove all the tarnish.
CASE: (UPDATE: a new Protec XL case can be purchased and included - $170 value.) Currently paired with what is likely the original, in rough, travel-able shape. Ask me about upgrading this. Obviously the handle as electrical wire should go... I may have a handle to add to this case if you'd prefer to keep this case.
