***COLLECTOR ALERT!***
An early model Conn Soprano in what research has lead: Key of Bb, High Pitch
This is the era that built the American greats - it was built with extreme 1900s craftsmanship, engravers and assemblers with thicker plating as supplies and metals were cheaper before the depression or music boom. This sax was last owned by a local WA collector who likely left it in the closet that last decade(s) as he had a stable of saxes to play mainly.
On this model you'll notice the common "C" Soprano trait: keyed up to high Eb only. This era model also has the dual-octave lever design and no pearl touches true to form. It has straight toneholes, soldered onto the body.
PADS: Pads are tan with nylon resos that look like the 1990s-00s install. They look used very little considering that year count and have lots of life left. I'm sure a small tuneup is in order, but overall, this is minor compared to many other saxes that come through the shop.
CASE: yes, a modern Protec soprano case.
