Based on finish, color, serial number and design, I think this is a 1950s Pan Am. This was worked on elsewhere and had newer pads with plastic resos! This could be a great vintage sax for the money. Expect it to have a traditional bold Conn tone, ergos near identical to the 6M but a better price.
TONE: Bold and crisp like a 6M, perhaps less depth for the >$1,000 price change.
CASE: Currently in a Jet Pak gig bag, soft case. I'm happy to check the back room for a hard case that fits also; or we can look at the proper Protec too.
