Owned by a professional musician who played on tv shows decades ago, this sax is ready for the true player and tone-lover! The sax was relacquered and noticeably the neck has a side patch with a slightly lighter yellow color (relacquered after the repair). Beyond that, no major damage jumps out at me.
TONE: The earliest core of Selmer's tone was launched in these 1930s, Super model saxes. They bring more meat and depth than the 50s Selmers. If you can forgive the early ergos on a "Selmer", you'll be rewarded with a stronger, more powerful tone!
PADS: newer repad (~2018 from a known local WA tech name) and they have lots of life left... tan pads, seamless metal with slight dome.
CASE: vintage wood case in functioning condition.
