I had a good play test this this one. It has minor repairs to align a few corks and pads, as well as remove a little noise; some of which is just needing oiled.

TONE: "Selmer with a kick". The oversized Noyak resos add a punch, or bite to the tone, which is to be expected. It's like a mid and treble boost. It's really hard to describe. Personally, I really liked it for more of the potential power that you can have should you choose to push it. (this may also be because I play on a larger resonator setup aimed at solo blues tone). It's still a Selmer in tone but with a little more sparkle in the presence. 

What resonators can do to sound:

At this time, the best comp of such resonators that I have is this Sound File on two 1972 Buffet SDA ALTOs.
     Sax 1: tan pads; standard flat metal resos
     Sax 2: black roo pads; sealed edge, Noyak star resos.

TUNEUP/REPAIR OPTIONS: As it is a consignment, there is a minimal amount of work that is included to send it out playing great for this listing. But if you might want me to dive a little deeper for the work while it's here; example: getting all the palm pads updated/new (x2-4).

PADS:  Tan pads, with star Noyak resos. The age of pads has 2-3 era, however, they were able to keep the resos consistent. I'm impressed by that!

CASE: Vintage Selmer, original.

BONUS: Mouthpiece; rubber Yamaha TS-S2 with top ridge and original ligature to pair. Originally seen with YTS-61s pro model sax.
