Intermediate Selmer from the recent years. Black nickel plating intact at 85%. Model SAS-280RB. It arrived we'll played & loved by an aspiring player. I am impressed with the action and feel and I would say that this could keep up with some pro saxes! 1) it's a "selmer", with all the ergos and tone you're after. I would label the tone as "bold, focused, slightly brighter than Vintage tone, yet, very responsive and firm". The bell is "traditional-sized bell" for the clean, focused sound. (I found the bell curve to be very interesting--flares to the right).
PADS: factory originals. palm key pads show the most wear but nothing serious. Lots of life left in the main horn as "mild wear".
CASE: Comes with Original Selmer "La Voix" hard case - NEVER been out of the house! (aka, excellent condition)
MOUTHPIECE: Also comes with the Syos, lime green, 6* mouthpiece. Looks like it says Senn Kati and 6*, or a 0.077" tip.
Original, lacquered metal Selmer ligature and cap included.

This sax is a super cool sax; I actually really like the tone. It must be reminiscent of my ol' Series II selmer.
