This will be a great sax for a beginner, step up and/or can do pep/marching or whatever. They really are a quality build that can meet your needs. It has high F# and the warm, bronze-brass body tubing - you can see the two-tone color. This sax has some past repair work to the bell lip and a dent on the bottom bow with a ding in the back tube, and one replacement guard on the Eb. Pads are a mix of originals and some that were changed by a past owner. HUGE bell flare on this model! (i love it)

CASE: Yes - An original Selmer Liberty hard case. It is rectangle with a wrap-exterior; zippered case with internal top blanket design (like vintage Couf's pro saxes).

Liberty Alto Sax (LAS) model 501 is a different ergo feel than the AS500, or like, series. It is like the La Voix (AS 220) and La Voix II, which I have had and done gigs with.

***Play Condition work: pending. It will receive a few new pads & corks, oils and adjustments throughout. I'm not planning to purchase the replacement Eb guard at this time, as that can be added later at your cost.
