An early Yamaha pro sax with rich tone and fast ergos. This consignment listing comes with a practically new Protec case! The sax is in ok condition showing the decades of loving playing time and no major abuse to mention. This is a great sax for your budget upgrades; first, pro sax; or backup -- all options contain potential use for this sax.
I was able to play to low Bb with minimal effort and I can see some mix of pad eras, some may be original, yet most all of the main stacks have been replaced rather recently. I suspect that a recommended 20-60min amount of repairs would also be some wise preventative/invested maintenance... even though I saw nothing glaring during the 10min drop-off appointment.
CASE: near new Protec Pro-Pac, molded wrap case.
