Brilhart ‘Personaline L4’ Tenor, 1950s, Ser# (RAC reface) – 0.090″ (Archived)
SOLD - SOUND FILE - Don't let the black plastic material fool you. Mouthpiece with the Circle wood-grain tooth pad. Bob Carpenter did the minor perfection of the reface to a 0.090" and facing length of 22mm. He also filled the tooth groove. As usual, Bob's work looks excellent! 4-digit! #7455, The chamber has mild/medium side walls with a great sound.
Description: " a [longest "E"3], horizontal table, plastic, smallest boat, shortest shank"
Brilhart ‘Personaline S5’ Tenor, 1960s White, Ser# – 0.082″
$275.00 - These are always great. Wood-grain tooth pad in Excellent condition!! Original tip to a 0.082"! There are no cracks to mention. serial number is 6-digit 100K. It plays very easy and has a centered, Mid-Tone core to the tone. These have a medium chamber with shallow side walls. Originally, it came with a super cool, "Brilhart" plastic cap and I found a Brilhart 3-band ligature to pair up with it!, however, a customer requested to purchase those separately. I have reduced the price to reflect the Mouthpiece solo. I can find a ligature for you though. Just ask.
Description: " a [long "E"1], horizontal table, hard rubber, short boat, long shank"
Brilhart ‘Tonalin 5 – Custom 8’ Tenor, 1946-51 Ser# 87942 (RAC reface) – 0.098″ (Archived)
SOLD - what a fun mouthpiece. Bob Carpenter refaced the tip to a 0.098". It has a long facing. I also had Bob patch a tooth groove. I have since installed a black foam tooth cushion. This has a much larger presence to the tone and a big sound. There are no cracks to mention. These have a medium chamber with shallow side walls. AND it is a 5-digit serial #87942 (higher demand, higher price). Everyone loves a #5 or higher number Tonalin. This one will be no exception. sorry, no ligature, just ask.
Brilhart ‘Tonalin 5’ Tenor, early 50s Ser# 37945 (Archived)
SOLD - with script in beautiful condition. FIVE DIGIT SERIAL NUMBER! This one plays really nice with decent focus for a Tonalin. I'm biased, but I love these. A good smooth Stan Getz type sound. Original Tip size at 0.085", no tooth grooves. no ligature. There are two crack evidences, all too common on these. I would recommend banding it but I will offer two prices.
Brilhart ‘Level-Air 5’ Tenor, 1960s Ser# 4371 – 0.093″ (Archived)
SOLD- This mpc is a nice free blowing mpc with a tip measuring 0.092" (not normal for a " 5 " ). Ser # 4371 There is a small tooth imprint that I covered with a clear bite tab--typical on these. It blows a big sound with heavy mid tones for a metal, cliff-style baffle. early 4-digit vintage series with side-to-side machining on the table (meaning: the early era of likely the 1960s).
Brilhart ‘Ebolin 4’ Tenor, 1950s Ser# 83039 (Archived)
SOLD - This is an Ebolin with a nice, early 5-digit ser#83,039. Original facing tip at 0.084". This one plays very strong with the characteristic Brilhart sound--medium chamber with flat side walls. Looking for a Tonalin sound, without the Tonalin price?! ...This is a great option! a bit more presence in the treble tones but darn close to my Tonalin 5 (0.085") from my sound files.

Brilhart ‘Ebolin 3*’ Tenor, 1950s Ser# 58860 (Archived)
SOLD - Low ser # 58860 in very good shape, with serial number. Feels like a 1955 era, plays strong and a little bright, but warms up with a La Voz "jazz" reed. Original tip size 0.080".
