SOLD - Vintage Selmer mouthpiece - Art Deco logo, fluted side walls, slide on ligature and cap set! It is all in good condition with silver plating intact. The chamber is round and medium-small-medium as was standard on this model.
Conn 1931 ‘6M – Art Deco Transitional’ Eb Alto, GOLD #246k (Archived)
SOLD - Exquisite, Rare, Beautiful. Extremely Clean. In original, burnished gold plate and in fantastic condition. Is there anything that I can really say here? This deluxe 6M is one of the first as they came off the line.
Woodwind ‘Meliphone Special – B5*’ Alto, (Mojo Refaced) – 0.080″ (Archived)
SOLD - Refaced by Mojo. This mouthpiece has straight side walls into a larger throat/chamber than narrows back to the neck bore size. Terrific material. The Mojo reface looks excellent, as always, and his markings are: "46, 080, Mojo +5".
Kolhert 1957 ‘Model 57’ Eb Alto, #35k (Archived)
SOLD - A rarer sax from the pinnacle of the Kolhert factory. Model 57 is considered their best sax. "...They just sound really, really good. They are much like a vintage Keilwerth, although a bit 'edgier' than a Keilwerth; and a bit more 'aggressive' and 'wider' in tone than a French or Italian horn. Intonation tends to be quite good."
Jupiter ‘JAS-769’ Eb Alto, #G16k (Archived)
SOLD - I like these as a good "all round" starter sax (one of a few that meet this). Great Ergos, it has the high F# key, nice original hard case. Made in Taiwan, Gold lacquer, nickel keys.
Armstrong ‘Model 3000’ Eb Alto, #7,2xx
SOLD - Another starter sax with decent ergos, good metal, and a lineage of Keilwerth parts. This sax looks like the old Couf parts (my 1970s pro sax.) Gold lacquer, nickel keys. No high F# key, Cosmetic condition: 6.0. I expect it to have a great sound that would rival and new sax.
Selmer ‘”Soloist Style” – E’ Alto, 1960/70s Long Scroll Shank – 0.078″ (Archived)
SOLD - Very rare, highly desirable "Soloist E". Made of excellent hard rubber, these mouthpieces have the horseshoe chamber and offer a clean, warm, vintage tone that can do many genres - that's probably helped the demand go up.
Yamaha ‘YAS-23’ Eb Alto, #368k (Archived)
SOLD - One of the gold standard saxes to start on. This one is in great condition and will last your young player a long time and get them started right.
