This is a composite plastic mouthpiece--white with black bite plate cushion installed. This received metal banding repair and refacing from Bob Carpenter and now has a tip size of 0.082" with a 17mm facing. It has a medium chamber with shallow side walls like a Martin, ebolin, or tonalin. sound-wise: it has a mild tubby-ness to it, smooth like classic jazz...Until you go up high. then the 82 tip opens up to a bit brighter, cutting ability. It responses best with a +2.75 size reed. No ligature.
