1951 Buescher 'Top Hat and Cane 400' Tenor

One of the sax world's favorite saxes - Original finish. #345k dates it to 1951. There's no need to sell this one, the tone is everything it should be. Sax was brought in by second owner (owned since 1963), it has been used very little in the last 30 years.

Original finish, gold springs.

PADS: most are old(guess dating at 1975 or older), if not original for some. Newest ones are Eb1, E3, Optinal F#.

Negatives to mention:

• 95% of snaps remain: missing 3x palm keys (all too common).
• Past bell lip damage that was repaired, as the bell brace also is squished into the body and repaired at 85% complete (by WWS Standards). This repair was done in the recent 15 years and cost $600 alone. The rear foot to the Opt. F# guard is also 1/2 soldered now as a result of this damage/repair(to be addressed as needed).
• misc bow dents and rears present; bottom bow dent.
• ***remind me to resolder the octave pip before a test/trial(included).

CASE: Original vintage hard case. Functioning case with lots of room for packing material. It has the black marks from the owner as a young boy carrying the sax and riding to school on his bicycle! 🙂
