I like Jupiters as a good "all round" starter sax. Great Ergos, it has high F# key (YES), and it has the original hard case. Made in Taiwan, Gold lacquer body and keys. Jupiter has solidified its brand and quality over the last several years and many teachers now recommend them to their students.
There's minor cosmetic scratches on the back, aside from the normal use, the sax in excellent shape. This sax has mostly factory original pads and I think I count about 5-6 that were changed in it's life. No major damage to report!
Future repairs will likely be the standard "Phase 1" pads that wear out first on the palm keys--which is totally normal for saxes. Depending on use, this could be a [6 months-to-3 year] timeline. I would put G2 pad on the watch list.
CASE: yes - original Jupiter hard case in working condition.
COSMETIC RATING: 8.5 -- mostly great, some wear and tear.
MOUTHPIECE: comes with a stock mouthpiece.
