These are a French brand with the tone of an American sax: Conn + King + Martin + Keilwerth(German). It has the huge, fat, SML tone. These are in the top 3 for BOLDEST tones and harmonics!

This beloved SML GM(Gold Medal) II era tenor with all the features that are loved and sought(except the I vs II rolled tone holes change).

CASE: Yes, TBD. If you desire an upgrade, we can talk about a Protec XL that will fit the massive bell. It currently is in a used Bam case ($$$). This case was pricy design: multi-pocket, backpack straps, shoulder strap, and hide-away RAIN COVER too! It is safe for the sax and it fits. It is worth noting that the zippers are not 100% functional, and has a small glitch at the main center point. [aka, it have zips closed, and the second zipper pull is a not sealing 1/2 the wrap].

Don't forget all the SML features like screw adjustments and "Articulated G# on/off lever", gold springs, and screw adjustments too. These do have a longer neck for positioning and a slight upward angle; both normal on this model.  I'll also note that the neck is 100% an SML neck with the length, angle and brace. It does however not have the "SML" logo brass badge on tube. This is not a major concern by my review, just noting that for honest sales.

This example has a custom octave thumb rest for the owner as the sheet metal original style ones can be uncomfortable. This has comfort! I support this improvement for easy of playing.

A replacement (original SML) thumbrest is included!

PADS: work done elsewhere, it has newer, tan pads with domed metal resos. They show mild use but have many years of life left. I did recent maintenance for the owner before listing.
