You won't see these come up for sale very often! Recently, this model of metal build has been discontinued and used to be only available by special order from the factory. The sax was ADULT OWNED, and I suspect only had 2 owners. The last owner played in only mildly over the 1.5 yrs. There is no major damage to report, but you can see this sax got to live a life and make beautiful music.

SOUND: These are marketed and known as "amplifiers"...meaning the solid silver will amplify whatever tone you/your mouthpiece are making. Example: a dark mouthpiece will have extra dark and robust harmonics; a bright and cutting mouthpiece will be able to peal paint off the wall. 

WWS REVIEW: This sax has a wonderfully full sound with tones of rich harmonics and even timbre across the entire instrument; plus excellent intonation. It's VERY responsive and resonant, and reminds me of how a King Super 20 can respond at different volumes. Everything matches what you read and hear about Yani pro saxes. The solid silver enhancement is the brings this [INSERT FANCY WORD FOR DESCRIBING SOUND] into the room. It's really hard to describe: zing, brilliance, robust, fullness, texture, umpgh, crisp, ... it's just special.

PADS: Pads are in good condition and were replaced in "January 2024" and are tan with metal resos.

COSMETICS: I will rate it at 80% most from some lacquer flake/wear on the yellow key cups, rods, and touch points. There are some factory acid bleeds, seen as silver on silver lines, affecting the solder points onto the tube-to-tube and foot/post-to-body (see: the bell etc). This is a known factory effect over time that happens when flux is not cleaned well enough.

CASE: This deserves a new Protec case to go with such a great sax. Just inquiry as needed. I have options here.
