Thanks for all this joy. I feel like I finally have the Ferrari I’ve been wishing for since high school. .... Thanks again for the mid-life boost. More economical than a convertible.

Hey Chadd,

My family and I arrived in China last night after smooth, uneventful travel.

The horn case fit easily in three different planes’ overhead compartments. Love the backpack straps.

I finally got to play this afternoon. I love the horn. It feels familiar and it sounds great. After a couple of hours, I didn’t want to call it a day, but being out of shape in addition to travel weariness meant I had to pack it up. I’m looking forward to playing again tomorrow. I tried the Levelaire, the mouthpiece you sent, and my Selmer C*. Both Brilharts have a lot of punch. The C* is smooth and sweet.

Some day I may ask you to rebuild my alto. It would be great if it played like this tenor.

Thanks for all this joy. I feel like I finally have the Ferrari I’ve been wishing for since high school.

Cheers!

Here's the before photos of the sax that Cody purchased from Worldwide Sax:

It was a fun sax to restore and a special one because it was a Transitional Buffet sax with parts from both the Super Dynaction and the S1 models. The original posting can be viewed here.
