My god this horn makes awesome sounds.  I settled on a 10mFan Celebration 7*.  It is a great mouthpiece but really sings on this sax.

My Hotrod Story - By G.L.:

I had been visiting the WWS website for several years and nearly bought the Martin with  the rose gold bell but decided I was not the right owner for that horn. I waited for awhile, but finally started looking at Hotrod a little more seriously. I wanted a sax with a great sound and a story so I decided that Hotrod would be that sax. I loved the line in his description that it would be a sax that would turn the guitar players' heads. Chadd's ideas of modernizing the keywork but leaving the body with minor blemishes gave this sax a past, a present and a future. During the process you could feel Chadd's passion for this project. One adventure created a new one for him and he exceeded my expectations, and I think even his own. The first time I played Hotrod, I was like: "Holy Lester Young!"; This sax has a great vintage sound like you'd expect from a sax of this era. The more I play this sax, the more I fall in love with it. I can play anything on it from classical to fusion and anything in between. Haven't played with any guitar players yet, but Hotrod sure has turned a few sax players' heads.

WWS Short Report: I bought this horn in 2014 knowing full well that I had these Selmer parts to use on this custom sax. The time & client order didn't arrive until 2021 (7.5 years after my vision!). I am incredibly grateful to Mr GL for walking through this patience-required project as it developed from vision to reality.  It will forever be remembered here at WWS.

This sax will be in Major Restorations and Past Work.
