Ser # 80,32x, made sometime between 1976 and 1977, nice early Superba 1. These have a TONE that are noted for a very big, warm sound, that is full of harmonics and body. These models are rarer; the finish is very good, perhaps 85%, with the usual wear and minor scratches. Serial number on the neck from near year #79k. Latest research/discussions says that some of these did not have assigned necks.
PADS: tans pads, with domed-metal resos to suit the original, traditional setup from the factory. They have lots of life left.
CASE: upgraded to a Protec XL for a great fit.
Sax was owned by a pro player and he says it's everything you'd expect for the the Keilwerth/Couf saxes; and "It's a great lead alto tone".
