An Intermediate/Step-Up Sax

I like these as a great intermediate sax. Great ergos, high F# key, nice original hard case. Made in Taiwan, Model JTS-889 (the model era makes me guess the year around 2000.).  This is the early model with the silver neck(not sterling silver) so it has a warmer tone than the next model. Currently in factory pads that come with slight-domed metal resonators; there are a few that have been changed out as needed.

These have fast action and you'll love it over most any student sax. They play a little louder with power and presence. (from the silver ringing) I love these and actively search for these in alto and tenor as a great sax to play for beginners and advanced players.

Cosmetic Rating: 9.0 -- Nice! Minor tarnishing can begin on the silver body.

CASE: Yes, the original, brown, hard case in good condition.

MOUTHPIECE: It has a Yamaha 5C mouthpiece paired in the case.

OTHER: comes with lyre mount, pull-thru swap and cork grease.

All Student/Intermediate saxes come with, at least, a mouthpiece... and usually anything that arrived in the case with that sax.
