Yamaha's first Intermediate sax that helped the market with a valid option. These are very high quality saxes. This is the generation before the YTS-475 model. Another pretty example, a well-loved sax that will advance any growing player--youth to adult. The "A" in the serial number is a positive note. This means it was assembled in the US Michigan factory; it was a highly regarded place for quality.
It has some minor pings and dings that will get some attention in our shop as well a full tune-up. Due the consignment listing details, I will allow the new owner to guide the repairs that fit your budget and desires. For now, the known recommendations are: a new neck cork, and 5-14 pads.
CASE: yes - it the original Yamaha hard case in good working order.
