Wagner ‘JK Blank’ Alto, Rubber – 0.061″
SOLD - here's another winner!--a cheap option: hard rubber. No script. medium-large chamber...poised for a nice, crisp, jazz tone. Originally 0.061" on arrival, It will get reface and play crisp and clear! Likely to about 0.063-068"...or check in to see if you can request the size! Comes with one screw ligature!
Current play test: medium resistance. I'm not sure if I like that, and would certainly look into the tip for finesse work. This should be a very clear, clean tone, with free-blowing traits.

Selmer ‘Elkhart- New York 2’ Alto, (WWS reface)- 0.069″(Archived)
SOLD - vintage Selmer, marked "2", with links to Zimberoff stencil line of mouthpieces (aka = awesome!)...I just refaced it to 0.069". It plays excellent! It has a medium-large, round chamber with rounded side walls. A great blowing piece! excellent center core tone with projection. My last one was an AWESOME player! reminded me of a Meyer/Link tone, but better (good price!). no lig sorry. It plays nice, with a mild resistance.

Selmer ‘”JAZZ” E’ Alto, 1980s Silver Plated – 0.077″ (Archived)
SOLD - Silver plated brass mouthpiece from the 80s. excellent I will make this a proper 0.077", then silver plate the repairs. It arrived without a ligature, but I think I have a soprano rovner-like wrap(with metal reed plate) to include.
Selmer ‘S-80 – C*’ Alto, Rubber, (RAC reface)- 0.078″
$149.00 - Used but nice Hard Rubber mouthpiece from the 80's, excellent quality hard rubber. Good for legit, concert band, or orchestra work. Bob Carpenter opened this one up to about 0.078" with a 21 facing curve. Larger tip has much more volume and projection; no longer just a C*.
Wolfe Tayne ‘3*’ Alto, Rubber, (WWS reface)- 0.079″ (Archived)
SOLD - FANTASTIC SOUND! WWS refaced 0.080"(photos of reface "in progress"), medium chamber with side walls.
I fully expect, due to the design of this one, that it will be a VERY NICE BLOWER! I will give it the extra time for a precision reface.
Other: ‘A. Lelandais Chantecler IV Custom’ Alto, (WWS reface) – 0.081″
$179.00 - Hard Rubber, in non-original facing, I had to drastically help this mouthpiece be able to play by leveling the table and refacing it myself. I knew it would be worth saving. I refaced to 0.081”,(photos are Before reface) Large round chamber-with custom bullet baffle! plays great! bold and focused. I want to help find a ligature for this one. It's a unique size. So I had to modify a soprano wrap with some cork inserts. (included)
Consider this: a vintage hard rubber mouthpiece, refaced with 3x the time needed, knowledge & inspection, and a sized ligature, ONE-OF-A-KIND MOUTHPIECE...
***AMAZINGLY FREE BLOWING, RAW POWER (bright tones) and there's only one out there!
