Selmer 1988 ‘USA – AS100’ Eb Alto, Silver Plate #824k (Archived)
SOLD - A entry-professional Selmer from the late 1980s - Model AS100(Omega). At #824k I will estimate its dating at 1988. Rare Silver plate in 97% condition. These are one of the best kept secrets in the sax world.--pro sax, "selmer", with all the ergos and tone you're after. Most people mistake the "USA" on the bell for the later student-line. Do not be fooled! She arrived with a few missing screws (I will replace with silver ones to match!) Future Rebuild: The specifics are yet to be decided. I would love to plan a Full Rebuild on this one with special pads and/or resonators. I'll shine up all the silver, and help her sing the doors down! Comes with a great Selmer hard case (like the Series I, II, III have) without the leather wrap, although the handles were repaired. Ask me about those.
Cosmetic Rating: 9.0
This sax will be a super cool sax!
Alto, Ligature: BG Metal Traditional
SOLD $75.00 - Inverted screw design, with dual reed plates. I was told this was a Gold model, I think it is but I'm not sure. So I'll make it a fair price for either the lacquer or gold finish (Compare new at $110 or $120).
Selmer 1929 ‘Model 26’ Eb Alto, #10,6xx (Archived)
SOLD - An undervalued 1920s sax that plays awesome. This sax had work done here at WWS in 9/2017 where we did a Full Disassembly and new oils everywhere, as well as gave it a necessary tuneup. It has a modified Bb1 pinky lever from the previous owner -- to help with classical studies.
FINISH: Bare Brass. I do suspect that the sax was relacquered (or at least a light buffing) prior to its current finish.
ERGOS: Although from the early selmer era, the ergos are not as bad on alto as they feel on tenor. Only potential complaint may be the pearl G#. Otherwise, the previous owner used it for classical studies through school!
CASE: A tri-pack selmer case in excellent condition! Protected by the leather wrap, the wear and tear on on the handles and the wrap. the case is very well preserved.
PADS: Sax has good pads, tons of life left with plastic resos.
TONE: a "crisp" vintage tone. This is not as smooth as the later Selmer that most people may know. More power than a Buescher, and a little less depth/spread/richness than a Conn 6M.
Selmer 1977 ‘Mark VII’ Eb Alto, w/ F#, #267,4xx (Archived)
SOLD - The little brother to the famous Mark VI - Worn original lacquer - This sax was in storage for the past 20 years and mostly adult owned/used with that family. mid-heavy, focused Selmer tone; It's more thin/focused/mid core only tone than the VI (a little darker, rounder).

Conn 1946 ‘6M’ Eb Alto, #319,2xx (Archived)
SOLD - One of the last "good" Conn 6Ms: Serial #319k, with rolled tone holes, G# trill key and underslung octave. It has a recent repad from unnamed local shop where it looks like it was given tan prestini pads and flat metal resos with rivet (conn style) setup -- 2x pads are different with plastic resos (D1, bis).
Finish: Original Lacquer. Comes with original Conn Case is good shape.
TONE: Rich like a 6M. Great response!
CASE: Original conn wood case. in fair condition - functional. I will treat the case for 'old' odors.
