Otto Link ‘Four **** Model’ Alto, (RAC reface) – 0.073″ (Archived)
SOLD - *From Chadd's Collection* - Warm, Vintage Tone all the way - from the vintage era of the late 1930s, a metal mouthpiece that is not loud and bright. These have a huge chamber, low baffle and a very reserved, warm tone. Serial number: DD 68. These were originally made with facings of #2 through 5*, and custom options. This was a Number #3, or Medium. Now at 0.073" it's pretty close to a modern Otto Link 5**.
Conn 1932 ‘6M’ Eb Alto, Transitional #253,3xx (Archived)
SOLD - The lowest-priced, rolled-tone-hole Conn that I've ever listed!!! One of the sought after Conn 6M Serial #s 253k, with rolled tone holes, G# trill key and underslung octave. Some medium damage to mention happened to the lower bow and some major damage to mention is the top of the neck. This may or may not be worth the worry to fix. I'm open to discussing it.
PADS: It has a recent tuneup from unnamed, out of state shop... most all the pads look decent except 1-3. Tan Pads & plastic resos.
TONE: It will be rich like a 6M. Expect it on the darker side due to the Ser#.
CASE: Currently with a vintage Martin case that is a poor fit. I wonder if I have something better around the shop...
Geo M. Bundy ‘Paris – B*’ Alto, 1930s – 0.057″
SOLD - Vintage, rubber Geo M Bundy mouthpiece with a very large chamber - Likely paired with the early Bundy saxes that were a Conn Pan-Am/6M spin off. So I'm not surprised that this mouthpiece reminds me of a Conn Eagle mouthpiece with the huge chamber. It's currently in the original facing and tip at 0.055" and it could be refaced to your request (Add $50-100 for a reface). Inquire for additional information.
Woodwind ‘Special – Made For Dick Stabile’ Alto – 0.065″(Archived)
SOLD - A unique design: Straight side walls (Brilhart) into a larger throat/chamber than narrows back bore size. Terrific material. I love all Steel Ebonite mouthpieces and this one is unique at that. The added ring at the shank is a great addition for long-term shank protection - the ring is silver plated and was polished here at WWS. "Patent Process No. 1452953". This mouthpiece is currently in original condition and could be opened up if you so desire. Doing so would be a $50+ addition depending on how far you want it to go.
Woodwind Co. ‘New York “B4*”‘ Alto – 0.054” (Archived)
SOLD - Terrific hard rubber material and good classic design. LARGE CHAMBER makes for a big vintage sound. Original facing "B4*" marking, arrived original tip at 0.054". Reface?: You can help request the sizing of it. These are some of my favorite mouthpieces and you can bet that I'll copy my favorite Woodwind that is ~ 0.074".
Yamaha 1990s ‘YAS-52’ Eb Alto, #00719x (Archived)
SOLD - Another great step-up alto, ser#007xxx, Original Lacquer at 97%. They are clean sounding, comfortable playing saxes, with great intonation. Few saxes can be 'intermediate' and get so much praise.
PADS: Pads play great and show more age and use (goes with the finish = pretty sax)
CASE: comes with original hard case in nice shape.

Selmer 1988 ‘USA – AS100’ Eb Alto, Silver Plate #824k (Archived)
SOLD - A entry-professional Selmer from the late 1980s - Model AS100(Omega). At #824k I will estimate its dating at 1988. Rare Silver plate in 97% condition. These are one of the best kept secrets in the sax world.--pro sax, "selmer", with all the ergos and tone you're after. Most people mistake the "USA" on the bell for the later student-line. Do not be fooled! She arrived with a few missing screws (I will replace with silver ones to match!) Future Rebuild: The specifics are yet to be decided. I would love to plan a Full Rebuild on this one with special pads and/or resonators. I'll shine up all the silver, and help her sing the doors down! Comes with a great Selmer hard case (like the Series I, II, III have) without the leather wrap, although the handles were repaired. Ask me about those.

This sax will be a super cool sax!
