Selmer 2000s ‘La Voix II’ Eb Alto, Silver Plate, #9,024k (Archived)
$SOLD - Ser# 9,024,xxx. Intermediate Selmer from the recent years. Rare Silver plate in 97% condition. Model SAS-280RS. It arrived we'll played, yet still playing very strong. I was very impressed with the action and feel and I would say that this could keep up with some pro saxes! 1) it's a "selmer", with all the ergos and tone you're after. I would label the tone as "bold, focused, slightly brighter than Vintage tone, yet, very responsive and firm". The bell is "traditional-sized bell" for the clean, focused sound. (I found the bell curve to be very interesting--flares to the right). Comes with the original Selmer hard case/backpack-type with the "la voix" on it.
---We just finished a full disassembly, silver dip cleaning, chemical cleaning, and replaced the main palm key pads and Eb for longevity and easy maintenance! All shined up and helped her sing the doors down!
Cosmetic Rating: 9.0
This sax is a super cool sax! I actually really like the tone. It must be reminiscent of my ol' Series II selmer.

Woodwind Co. ‘New York “N3″‘ Alto – 0.062” (Archived)
SOLD - Terrific material and good classic design. Larger chamber makes for a big vintage sound. reminds me of a slant signature sound but a but more 'vintage-nasal' with the Original tip size of 0.062".
Yanagisawa ‘Rubber #6’ Alto (Archived)
SOLD - Medium round chamber with original tip at 0.074". Nice core tone for many genres.
Vito ‘Melodia- 3V’ Alto, (WWS reface)- 0.071″ (Archived)
SOLD - Medium chamber. I refaced it to a 0.071". (reface in Progress). I think this is going to be a great player with a classic Meyer tone, but with more focus.

Woodwind Co. ‘New York “J5″‘ Alto, (WWS reface)- 0.078” (Archived)
SOLD - Terrific material and good classic design. Larger chamber makes for a big vintage sound. reminds me of a slant signature sound but a but more 'round'/less focus with the WWS Refaced tip at 078". I have to say, I did my very best to copy my personal Woodwind Co. mpc. This one plays darker than my personal favorite, but just as free blowing. size of 0.065". No ligature, notice the lack of tooth pad design, we'll include a cushion if you'd like to play. Most buyers like these to strictly look at though.
