Buescher 1922 ‘True Tone’ Eb Baritone, Silver Plate #127k (Archived)

SOLD - Here's a beautiful early TT model ser.#127k dates it to 1921-23, in excellent 93% silver plate, Goldwash bell at 80% has a pinkish hue currently. Keyed to high F, no front F in this era, these old guys are known for their woody tone. It's a buescher thing. If you want true vintage 20's (or earlier) tone, you have to get a buescher or conn. This sax did have snap in pads! unfortunately, it looks like some are missing/have been removed during pad repairs.
The cloudy look is Clear Lacquer; on silver it seems to be a good idea until it flakes off and look like this. WE WILL STRIP OFF THE LACQUER (Included). I need to give the sax a bath (for very minor "vintage" smell) and she will play great after a Full Rebuild. Overall the sax is in excellent shape with very limited dents or dings, neck curl looks ok(a few dents to address there), will also pull the body brace dent, bottom buescher "fin" on the bow looks great too! Left to my own decisions, I would likely rebuild it with Buescher snap pads (shellac glued) and install Pisoni seamless domes to mimic the buescher Snap resos (on the pads without snaps); but it wouldn't bother me to let the new owner customize the resonators to fit your style. New case likely!($+280)

Selmer 1987 ‘USA – TS100’ Bb Tenor, #826,49x (Archived)

SOLD - One of the secret gems in the whole sax world! I have plans with this sax to be a great Pro Tenor for a player on a "budget". Let me explain: a Pro, Selmer, Tenor... for under $3000. That is a very hard thing to offer. I'll do my best to help you all out.
CASE: original hard case in good+ shape, hard wood rectangle style.
Serial #826,4xx, Original lacquer finish at 75%. It was worked on to 'ok playing' condition and I want to have you help make it your own. It had lost the pants guard--I'll try to add a proper replacement.
