Brilhart ‘Tonalin 4 – Custom 8*’ Tenor, 1960s/70s (RAC reface)- 0.100″

$189.00 - This one arrived on its deathbed. 🙁 but Bob is amazing; he saved it--tooth groove, tip repair and reface! Bob Carpenter refaced the tip to a 0.100" with a 23mm facing--"RAC". It is a longer facing that my normal so my embouchure had to adjust to this piece but after I paired with a happier reed, it came alive (rico plastic coated 2.5 of all things). There are no cracks to mention. These have a medium chamber with shallow side walls.

Selmer ‘”Soloist Style”‘ Tenor, 1960/70s Long Scroll Shank – 0.067″

$169.00 - This is the 3rd era of the "Soloist" models and basically identical to the [long shank] mouthpieces but with a baffle lowered - made them darker. Made of excellent hard rubber, these mouthpieces have the horseshoe chamber and offer a clean, warm, vintage tone that can do many genres - that's probably helped the demand go up. The tip measures 0.067" which is a little low for C* (0.071) but I will leave it original for now and allow an interested person to love it or discuss altering it.

SOLD - *From Chadd's Collection* - Warm, Vintage Tone all the way - from the vintage era of the late 1930s, a metal mouthpiece that is not loud and bright. These have a huge chamber, low baffle and a very reserved, warm tone. Serial number: DD 68. These were originally made with facings of #2 through 5*, and custom options. This was a Number #3, or Medium. Now at 0.073" it's pretty close to a modern Otto Link 5**.

Berg Larsen ‘120-2-SMS – SELECT’ Tenor, 1970-80s Rubber – 0.115″ (Archived)

SOLD - A super rare, 'SELECT' model Berg Larsen mouthpiece from the 1970s/80s. It has a straight signature, very offset SMS marks, the 'Select' label on the shank, bullet chamber and horizontal table markings.
NOTE: I can now say that even a "Select" mouthpiece can need repair. This is one of those. The table marks show that it is 10)% original still, yet some how the table is not level. I bet that's why I ended up with it - It's time to ignite it's true potential!
REFACING: On arrival the tip is measuring 0.108-113" due to an unlevel table. WWS will reface this mouthpiece to a superb playing facing. I will however wait for a short time to allow you to request the perfect tip size for you. The correct 're-sizing' should set this at 0.115".
SOUND: C'mon, it's a Berg 120! Expect a big, robust, yet clear, the #2 baffle helps leave some warmth in this robust core tone. It reminds me of my frequent flyer(110-2-SMS).

Yamaha ‘YSS-L1’ Soprano, 1970s – 0.045″

$169.00 - A rare Yamaha soprano mouthpiece made of hard rubber or blended composite (it definitely has some rubber). Straight baffle, straight side walls into a very small round chamber. This one is in great condition and also has a thin front tip rail --that's a good thing and not all had that.
This mouthpiece is to a  Yamaha 61 (purple logo) what the Selmer S-80 became to Selmer. It was paired with the pro Yamahas.
With original, grooved ligature! (and a Selmer cap. PS-I will clean the green on the cap up for you.)

Selmer ‘”JAZZ” E’ Tenor, 1950s Silver Plated – 0.085″

$325.00 - These are neat mouthpieces from 1955+(short shank). They have good focus with a mid, core tone and easy response. It's a metal mouthpiece without a cutting, bright tone - just a bit more kick than a rubber version. There is a little natural wear on the table and for now I left it all 100% original. If you want it further inspected and sealed with plating, that can be discussed.
Comes with a functioning, non-Selmer ligature.
