SOLD - Wow - One of, if not, THE nicest, gorgeously beaming "The Martin Tenor" saxophones for sale in the world right now. It's rebuilt and ready to play! With a mid-range serial number era (1946~63), it is right in the middle era for tone (earlier is darker). It's gorgeous; I'll stop blabbing now.
COLLECTOR PACKAGE: Original Martin mouthpiece, ligature and cap, and end plug.
REBUILD: Rebuilt elsewhere, is has black Saxgourment kangaroo pads ($100) and Silver ResoTech Resos (Oversized, flat, $200+).
The tone is popping on this one due to the resonators; there is added crispness to the 'cutting ability' all while still completely filling the room with the [Martin Tone] that you may be seeking. (I'll try to get a sound file). It really reminds me of Sarge's "Official Music Man"; probably due to the same pad setup! You can hear it below.

Jupiter ‘JTS-889SG’ Bb Tenor, #E20,xxx (Archived)
SOLD - A great sax in great condition! I like these as a great intermediate sax. Great Ergos, high F# key, nice original hard case. Made in Taiwan, #E0225x Model JTS-889. Sterling silver neck! Currently in factory pads that come with slight-domed metal resonators. These have fast action and you'll love it over any student sax. They play a little louder with power and presence.
Cosmetic Rating: 9.0 -- Nice, minor tarnishing to note on the silver body.
CASE: Yes, the original hard case in "ok/good" condition. (There was a slight scent on arrival; it isn't something worthy of discarding the case so I will treat it with my deodorizers.)
All Student/Intermediate saxes come with, at least, a mouthpiece... and usually anything that came in the case with that sax.
Selmer 1987 ‘USA – TS100’ Bb Tenor, #826,5xx (Archived)
SOLD - One of the secret gems in the whole sax world! I have plans with this sax to be a great Pro Tenor for a player on a "budget". Let me explain: a Pro, Selmer, Tenor... for under $3000. That is a very hard thing to offer. I'll do my best to help you all out.
CASE: original hard case in good+ shape, hard wood rectangle style, added latch.
Serial #826,5xx, Original lacquer finish at 65%. It was worked on to 'ok playing' condition and I want to have you help make it your own. It had lost the pants guard & F# guard--I'll try to add a proper replacements. This sax also had some neck repairs done that are worth mentioning. I gave that some love and helped round out the tubing. I will also do more during the repair work.

Martin 1948 ‘The Martin Tenor’ Bb Tenor, #166k (Archived)
SOLD - A beautiful "The Martin Tenor", with an early serial number (matching neck #), and many original features present: brown felt from the factory(under G# lever, F & A pearls, Eb lever), and of course the important tell: the rear sticker. There are some areas of the engraving that seem thinner than others, but due to all the other original factory parts, I still think this sax is factory original. That being said, this is one of the top-10 pretties "The Martin"s I've seen. The horn is in excellent condition and still plays very lusciously with the old setup (no resos, rivet only on some pads). there are only a few small dings to mention (photoed one on the bell lip), and some solder grit on the Eb key cup top, a few misc scratches, and wear on the octave key.
PACKAGE: It also comes with the Martin end cap, and an original Martin mouthpiece!

REBUILD: We are planning to offer this sax with a "Sarge Special" rebuild - Black Roo pads($100+), silver plated Resotech resos($200~), WWS Premium upgrade ($300), and full rebuild ($1000~). Conn 1942 ’10M’ Bb Tenor, #306,84x (Archived)
SOLD - A prime era 10m in original lacquer, S# 306,843. the thing is 30-m's and 10-m's are so different , i felt like i need to have both... the 30m is more of a jazz horn and the 10m works better for my rockin' R&B stuff. It has never seen any notable body damage, although some minor dents may have been rolled out before i got her. Rolled tone holes, Naked Lady engraving. The neck is slightly pulled down, i corrected that and eventually i will do a Conn Style Premium Rebuild, with Saxgourmet Kangaroo pads and flat metal resonators. The premium upgrade, with Teflon and Ultrasuede, will really do a lot to smooth out the action on her.
Chadd comments: This one is a real screamer. Setup with oversized flat metal resonators, and the Black Saxgourmet Roo pads. Just the real deal here, everything you'd expect from the fable of 10M's.
Originally, I got to sell this to a friend of Sarge's/mine. I had the rare opportunity to by her back and list her again through WWS; it's only fitting.

SOLD - These are well-loved and respected mouthpieces. This one is marked down from the $200+ pricing for the silver wear. Also, there is a clear tooth pad guard installed. SOUND: They maintain easy playability with a centered tone that still has controllable power it in.

STASHED - Bob's Collection - One amazing example! You'll love it. Marked [105-2-SMS], this mouthpiece was enhanced by me. ***I made as much of a copy on the facing curve as I could to my personal 110-2-SMS, vintage rubber ($450) Berg. I have had serious thoughts about buying this from Bob to add as my 'backup' mouthpiece, God forbid should anything happen to my main one. With a nice Berg ligature.
